I try and get through my daily routine by accomodating as much as I can. It can be as simple as holding a door open, or going out of your way to do something without having to ask for a favour in return.

I have mentioned it in a couple of previous comments, and I rant about this on a day to day basis - there are very few people who will go about their life, their routine and accomodate AOK unconsciously as part of this routine. If people did do this - well the world would be a better place to live in - don't you think?

Smashing post, I love the variety, and you are definitely on my blogroll... as soon as I get round to sorting it....!

Wow.
I love this, random acts of kindness are so cool - i try to do as many as possible and even though some times people dont say thank you or whatever i get that warm feeling & then i cant stop smiling.

That's an excellent idea: to consciously think of making somebody's day just a little warmer, a little brighter, a little lighter. I'll try to follow through on this plan :)
