Well, ever since I read Jeffery Deaver's Lincoln Rhyme books (ahhh, I love that man!) I have wanted to go to New York and visit Central Park. For this reason, that is where you shall go. :D

Since i too love Lincoln Rhyme i suggest going to New York, taking tons of pictures of Central Park posting them for me and falaak. But since i also love the rest of the world too i say take a gap year from work & travel the world. So really I'm not much help at all. :D

@Thrice @falakk thats 3-0 to the states so far! I think I want to travel in September though (prices will be better :D), fewer tourists, and the weather will be calmer.... or will I walk straight into the hurricane season?
@outcastrebelchic You're idea is a good one! I would love to take time out and travel for a year; but I am getting the strongest hints ever from my family that it is time to settle down, so long term travelling wont happen for a while. But 3-0 to the states at the moment :D

I am from Houston, so it is hard for me to see the appeal. If you do decide Houston, definitely try to see San Antonio or Austin as well. I lived in Toronto, and it is an awesome city - a smaller, cleaner, slightly more edgy version of NYC.
I love Chicago... and Boston.
San Francisco is my top US city. Followed by New Orleans, then Sedona, AZ.
That being said, given the options listed above - I would go to India.
