People change and it's mature of you to put everything behind you and go to his wedding. I truly hope it works out for him and his wife.I could be wrong [I don't mind being proven wrong,so correct me] but often the parents' estrangement leaves the child resenting social norms and just rebelling against everything.Shame you got caught in the crossfire. :\
